Fistral Beach, the home of British surfing, is the venue for the 5 Star ASP World Qualifying Series surf event, the highlight of the Relentless Boardmasters. The World’s best surfers will arrive in Newquay to take part in the $120,000 event with the aim of taking the cash and even more importantly the points on offer that will catapult them into the “dream Tour” and a life of surf super stardom. Make no mistake, this is the only chance to see the World’s best in England.
The Relentless Boardmasters has hosted the best surfers in the World, yes that includes Kelly Slater, and will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Format based on 144 surfers
- Round 1 – 24 heats of 4 surfers
- Round 2 – 24 heats of 4 surfers
- Round 3 – 12 heats of 4surfers
- Round 4 – 8 heats of 3 surfers
- Round 5 – 8 heats of 2 surfers
- Quarter Finals – 4 heats of 2 surfers
- Semi Finals – 2 heats of 2 surfers
- Finals - 1 heat of 2 surfers
